 Dr. Anthony Giuliano
Neuropsychologist in Newton, MA


Dr. Giuliano is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in clinical neuropsychological and psychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults. Areas of specialty include traumatic brain injuries, mood/bipolar disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and learning disorders.

Dr. Giuliano approaches assessment as a therapeutic intervention, and he works collaboratively with youth and adults to make the assessment process responsive to their goals and questions. His assessment work aims to enhance the benefits of neuropsychological or psychological assessment to individuals, their family members, and/or health professionals. Feedback sessions are organized as a discussion to help people understand themselves better and to identify constructive solutions to persistent problems or difficulties.

Dr. Giuliano completed his doctoral education in clinical psychology at the University of Rhode Island, and his pre-doctoral training at the University of Virginia Medical School. He completed a two year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Virginia Medical School, and a post-doctoral fellowship in developmental pediatric neuropsychology at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He completed his bachelor's degree in philosophy and psychology at Boston College. He is currently on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, and is a co-principal investigator or co-investigator on several funded clinical research projects. He regularly teaches seminars and courses and supervises students and trainees in psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
