Dr. Jessica Englert
Neuropsychologist in Boston, MA


Dr. Englert is a clinical neuropsychologist who provides neuropsychological assessments for individuals with neurological conditions, medical illnesses that affect cognition, memory disorders, mood disorders or psychiatric illness, learning disabilities, and ADHD. Dr. Englert’s specialty areas include the assessment of cognitive and behavioral changes associated with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and also with aging, with a particular focus on memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. She also has specialized training in the assessment of cognitive and behavioral changes associated with medical illnesses such as cancer. A significant portion of her work also includes assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) with adult clients. 

Dr. Englert provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations of the cognitive, behavioral, academic/vocational, and emotional functioning of an individual. Specific and individualized recommendations are then created based on those needs identified through the assessment. Dr. Englert conducts a thorough in-person feedback session to outline the cognitive strengths and weaknesses of a client, and provides specialized recommendations which help to utilize these strengths within the client’s daily functioning. For those clients suffering from significant cognitive and/or memory disorders, Dr. Englert reviews issues related to safety, capacity for decision making, and appropriate level of care with both the client and caregivers.

Dr. Englert received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. She also earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in health psychology, from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical neuropsychology training through the Jacobs Neurological Institute and the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, with a focus on the cognitive and behavioral changes associated with multiple sclerosis. She completed both her internship and two-year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Dartmouth Medical School.
