Jonathan E. Goldberg, Ph.D.

Dr. Goldberg provides
individual, family, and group
counseling with a diverse
population of clients. His main
areas of interest include
insight-oriented psychotherapy,
behavioral therapies for anxiety
and depression, crisis
intervention, substance abuse
treatment, group therapy, and
relaxation techniques.
Dr. Goldberg earned a Ph.D. in
clinical psychology from the
Gordon F. Derner Institute at
Adelphi University. He completed
a clinical internship at St.
Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New
York City, and a post-doctoral
fellowship at the Smithers
Treatment Center – a
nationally-recognized institute
for the treatment of substance
abuse and chemical addiction.
In addition to this work, Dr.
Goldberg has received extensive
training in behavioral models
for the treatment of mood and
anxiety problems, including
cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and
dialectical-behavioral (DBT)
therapies.
