Dr. Jones is a clinical neuropsychologist who provides neuropsychological evaluations for adults with neurological, medical, psychiatric and academic-related conditions that impact cognitive functioning. She works with a wide range of clients including those with memory problems, traumatic brain injury, mood disorders or psychiatric conditions, learning disabilities, and ADHD. Dr. Jones specialty areas include the assessment of cognitive and behavioral changes associated with ADHD. In addition to assessment, Dr. Jones has also developed a treatment and coaching program for individuals with ADHD to help them function better in daily life.
Dr. Jones provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of the cognitive, behavioral, academic/vocational, and emotional functioning of an individual. Specific and individualized recommendations are then created based on the needs identified through the assessment. Dr. Jones conducts a thorough in-person feedback session to outline the cognitive strengths and weaknesses for the client, and provides specialized recommendations to help clients function better in daily life.
Dr. Kelly Jones earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She completed a neuropsychology internship at the Bedford VA Medical Center. She also completed a two-year adult clinical neuropsychology fellowship at Harvard Medical School-Cambridge Health Alliance, where she also holds a research appointment. Her clinical research through Harvard Medical School focuses on evaluating the therapeutic effectiveness of neuropsychological assessment and intervention with adult populations.
Dr. Jones provides a range of neuropsychological assessment and treatment services for adult patients including cognitive remediation/ADHD coaching in our Back Bay and Newton Corner offices.
