 | Dr. Liz Klish Psychologist & Counselor in Newton, MA Dr. Klish is a clinical psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy and psychological assessment for adults. She believes that psychotherapy can help people change hurtful relationship patterns, advance personal growth, and increase life fulfillment. She relies on humor and warmth to create a non-judgmental, empathic therapeutic environment so that clients feel safe discussing their life challenges. Dr. Klish’s therapeutic approach draws from psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive-behavioral models. She works collaboratively with clients to understand their individual needs and to help them achiever their goals for a more fulfilling life. Her clinical interests include developmental issues, relationship stressors, life transitions, and anxiety/depression. She also has experience providing psychological assessment including cognitive and personality instruments. Dr. Klish earned her doctoral degree from Antioch University New England. She completed her internship training at Norwich University Counseling and Psychological Services Center. In addition to her clinical work, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Psychological Association. Dr. Klish offers psychotherapy, counseling and psychological testing in our Newton Corner office. |
