Maureen O’Connor, Psy.D.

Dr. O’Connor is a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in neuropsychological assessment of adults and geriatric clients with memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, neurological injury or disease, medical conditions that impact cognition, attention deficit disorder, and/or emotional problems that impact cognitive functioning.
Dr. O’Connor provides comprehensive cognitive and emotional assessments and conducts detailed feedback sessions with clients that include information about cognitive strengths and weaknesses, individual learning styles, diagnosis, emotional issues, and recommendations.
Dr. O’Connor earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete her internship training at the Yale University School of Medicine. She later completed a post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Cornell Weil Medical College, including rotations in the Neurology Departments of the NY Presbyterian Hospital and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. In addition, Dr. O’Connor completed an advanced post-doctoral fellowship at the Boston University Medical Center, including working within the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. In addition to her work at CPA, Dr. O’Connor also serves as the Director of Neuropsychology at the Bedford Veterans Administration Medical Center. She also is an instructor in the Boston University Medical Center Department of Neurology.
