Sara Orozco, Ph.D.

Dr. Orozco is a clinical
psychologist specializing in
individual, couples, and family
therapy with diverse client
populations. Her areas of
interest include anxiety and
mood disorders, grief and loss,
adjustment disorders, medical
and health concerns, and
relationship issues. She uses
various therapeutic approaches
including psychodynamic,
cognitive-behavioral therapies
and mind/body techniques.
Dr. Orozco earned a Ph.D. in
psychology with a specialty in
neuroscience at Georgia State
University. She completed a
clinical post-doctoral
fellowship in the Department of
Neuropharmacology at The Scripps
Research Institute.
Dr. Orozco also completed a
clinical re-specialization
program at the Massachusetts
School of Professional
Psychology. She has trained in a
number of settings including the
Mind/Body Institute at Harvard
Medical School, the Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute in
Psycho-Oncology and the
Pediatric Oncology Unit,
Children’s Charter, Inc., and
the Families and Couples Clinic
at The Brookline Mental Health
Center. She is a former faculty
member of the Harvard Medical
School. Dr. Orozco is fluent in
Spanish.
