Therese Harris, Ph.D.



  Dr. Harris is a senior clinical neuropsychologist with over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of adult clients with neurological, medical, emotional or academic concerns. She offers comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals 18 and over who are experiencing cognitive and/or academic problems. Her areas of specialty include neurological disorders, medical conditions that compromise cognition, memory disorders and dementia, ADHD, learning disorders, and mood disorders/psychiatric illness.
 
Dr. Harris provides comprehensive assessments of cognitive, educational, and emotional functioning, and also conducts detailed feedback sessions with clients. During the feedback meeting, Dr. Harris offers information about the client’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses, emotional functioning, and diagnostic impressions. Additionally, she develops tailored recommendations for each client with the aim of improving their overall functioning and performance in work, school and social environments.

Dr. Harris earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in neuropsychology from The Chicago Medical School (Finch University of Health Sciences). She completed her specialty neuropsychology internship training within the Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology and completed her 2-year post-doctoral neuropsychology fellowship at the Boston Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, where she worked within the ADHD treatment program. Dr. Harris also previously had earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Tufts University and worked privately as a psychotherapist.
