    The role:
    • Involves significant client phone contact

    • Guides clients from their first intake call through their first scheduled appointment with a clinician
    • Obtains information from health insurance companies and articulately relays this information to clients
    • Establishes a good rapport with clients, while sometimes dealing with sensitive topics

    Neuropsychology Testing Assistant (Newton)

    We are seeking a highly responsible, friendly and detail-oriented self-starter to administer cognitive/psychological tests to our pediatric neuropsychology clients. This position is perfect for a graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or an interest in Neuropsychology.

    Working under the supervision of a staff pediatric neuropsychologist, primary responsibilities include:

    • Administering cognitive and personality tests to clients with a wide range of neurological, medical and/or psychiatric conditions
      • Communicating with Neuropsychologists frequently
    • Working with kids and adults of all ages
      • Providing a written summary of the client’s behavior during testing
      • Maintaining client files, test materials and the neuropsychology lab
      • Participating in front desk coverage and other administrative tasks when needed
      • Maintaining client confidentiality at all times, during and after work hours

     

    A successful candidate for this position must have the following qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
    • Prior testing experience or training desired but not required
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills essential
    • Maturity and ability to establish a good rapport with patients and clinical staff
    • Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task is required
    • Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required

    CPA offers an attractive, professional, friendly and fun work environment. Starting salary for this position is $35,000 depending on relevant experience.

    This is a full-time position, Monday — Friday, 8:00/8:30 am — 4:00/4:30 pm with flexibility expected for 9-5:30. Employees may occasionally be asked to work on Saturdays.
