Psychiatric assessment and medication consultations are an integral part of our approach to helping clients feel better.
Our Psychiatry Services Team is led by our Chief of Psychiatry, Dr. Sanja Petrovic. Dr. Petrovic and all of our psychopharmacologists work closely with our psychologists and neuropsychologists to ensure the highest quality, coordinated care to improve outcomes for our clients.
Although many emotional difficulties can be fully treated with psychotherapy alone, at times additional psychiatric treatment may be necessary. Research indicates that the combination of psychotherapy and medication is often the most effective treatment for some conditions. During an initial consultation meeting, clients and prescribers work collaboratively to identify the client’s individual needs and concerns and to determine whether medication or another non-medication treatment option may be most beneficial.
We offer psychiatric assessment and medication management programs for a range of emotional and cognitive problems, including mood problems, anxiety symptoms, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
If you are a current client and think you might benefit from a psychiatric assessment or medication consultation, please speak with your CPA psychologist or neuropsychologist who will be happy to initiate a referral for you to see one of our psychiatrists or psychopharmacologists.
If you are a new client, please complete our quick and easy Online Intake Form or call us at (617) 259-1895 today.
