Dr. Siembor is a licensed psychologist who specializes in behavioral medicine.
His primary clinical interests are in the areas of health psychology and behavioral medicine, including the use of integrated psycho-therapeutic approaches (client-centered, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, clinical hypnosis, and biofeedback) for a variety of medical and behavioral health conditions.
He works with clients to develop an engaging and collaborative therapeutic relationship, assisting clients in managing the emotional, psychological, and behavioral impacts of chronic health issues and making positive behavioral changes to improve health and overall quality of life. He utilizes a predominantly client-centered approach focused on developing tailored treatment plans using a variety of evidenced-based treatment approaches.
Dr. Siembor works with clients with a variety of chronic pain conditions, including lower back pain, neck pain, joint pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS,) repetitive strain injuries, myofascial pain, headaches/migraines, and post-surgical pain rehabilitation. Dr. Siembor received his Ph.D. from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his psychology residency at the VA Western New York Health Care System in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Siembor provides psychotherapy and behavioral medicine services in our Financial District office.
