Dr. Supelana provides individual, couples, and group psychotherapy for adults and young adults. Dr. Supelana believes that therapy can help promote greater self-awareness, authenticity, and emotional flexibility. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space in which clients can collaboratively explore who they are and how they interact with others. Dr. Supelana utilizes a relational, psychodynamic approach that incorporates principles from other theoretical perspectives, such as family systems work, cognitive-behavioral theory, and acceptance and mindfulness-based interventions.

Dr. Supelana completed a Bachelor of Science at Georgetown University, a Master of Education at Harvard University, and a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from Fordham University. She completed an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA Medical Center. She has also worked at several hospitals, which include Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, the Boston VA Medical Center, the Manhattan VA Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Supelana provides psychotherapy in our Cambridge office.
