Edward Pacheco III, Psy.D.

 Dr. Pacheco is a licensed psychologist offering individual psychotherapy to adults and college-aged emerging adults. His integrative approach draws from a breadth of training and clinical experience and utilizes a variety of orientations to best align with the proclivities of each unique individual. He seeks to leverage change by delivering insightful analysis, offering actionable objectives, and providing supportive encouragement 

Dr. Pacheco has worked with a broad spectrum of adults of various ages, backgrounds, and afflictionsMuch of his clinical focus is directed toward helping clients develop deeper insight into their problem, understand themselves as dynamic and in context, and develop better questions to summon alternative solutionsDr. Pacheco’s style promotes a holistic approach to mental health and well-being

Dr. Pacheco completed undergraduate degrees at Howard University and the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He earned his master’s and doctorate degrees from the Hawaii School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Honolulu, Hawaii. He went on to complete a predoctoral internship at the University of Texas, El Paso within the counseling center and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco within the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program. Dr. Pacheco also lived as a resident for two years at the Kagyu Thegchen Ling Tibetan Meditation Center in Honolulu, HI. He sees clients in our Financial District office.
