Dr. Long is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of neurocognitive disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. His practice is focused on neurocognitive issues affecting children and adolescents, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD,) learning disorders, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Dr. Long received a doctorate in clinical psychology and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology at the University of Tulsa. He completed his residency and postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with an emphasis on neuropsychological evaluation. He also completed a certificate program in forensic mental health within the Law and Psychiatry Program at UMASS Medical School in Worcester. Dr. Long provides neuropsychological evaluations in our Newton-Watertown office.
