Marina Robinson, Psy.D.

Dr. Robinson is a licensed psychologist who provides individual and family psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, complex trauma/PTSD, ADHD, interpersonal relationships/social-emotional challenges, identity development/self-esteem, adjustment disorders, parental divorce, psycho-diagnostic assessment, parent guidance, transgenerational/acculturational conflicts, grief/loss, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. 

Dr. Robinson considers the therapeutic relationship to be paramount in the treatment process, and strives to establish a warm, trusting, interpersonal foundation with her clients to maximize healing and growth. She is committed to providing an individualized, collaborative, client-centered, evidence-based treatment approach so as to meet each client where they are and help guide them where they want to be. She specializes in play therapy, trauma-informed interventions (including, but not limited to, Trauma Focused-Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), parent guidance, child/adolescent development, identity development, mindfulness, and conflicts related to acculturational/generational differences. 

Dr. Robinson received her doctoral degree from Alliant International University – California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse, NY, where she served children and families in inpatient, outpatient, and day treatment facilities. She continued her post-doctoral experience at Aspire Health Alliance in Quincy, MA, where she provided outpatient therapy and assessment.
