Dr. LaPuma is a post-doctoral fellow at CPA providing individual therapy to adults and adolescents. Her integrative therapeutic approach draws from cognitive/behavioral-based and client-centered treatments. Dr. LaPuma believes that fostering a strong therapeutic relationship while maintaining a judgment-free and comfortable environment is key to improving client well-being. She most enjoys working with individuals who are struggling with OCD, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment to life changes and self-esteem issues. With all clients, she incorporates authenticity, humor, and empathy to encourage self-acceptance and personal growth.
Dr. LaPuma received her doctoral degree from The University of Florida. She completed an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at Centerstone Consortium in Bradenton, FL. She sees clients in our Financial District office.
