The Boston Marathon is less than 3 weeks away and CPA psychologist, Dr. Kristen Ihde is teaming up with our Back Bay neighbors, Marathon Sports to participate in a panel discussion on Tuesday, April 4th at 6pm at Clerys (113 Dartmouth Street, Boston) about the mental aspect of running, training, and racing.
Marathoners often talk about “hitting the wall” late in a marathon, but what does that actually mean? How do the mental aspects of running & racing affect a runner physically?
Dr. Ihde has run 17 marathons (including 3 Boston Marathons) and is training for her 18th. Her professional expertise & extensive running & racing experience give her a unique point of view on how to best prepare and execute your training & race day plans.
