We could not be more proud to announce that The Boston Globe has once again ranked CPA as a Top Workplace in Massachusetts. Congratulations and thank you to our dedicated team for helping our clients (and each other!) lead happier, healthier lives.

BOSTON, Mass., Nov. 13, 2015 – Commonwealth Psychology Associates (CPA) has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the second consecutive year by The Boston Globe. Every year, Top Places to Work recognizes the Commonwealth’s most admired workplaces based on confidential surveys of employees.

CPA ranked in the top 10% of 126 participating small employers (50-99 employees) for the second year in a row. “We are honored to again be included among so many progressive organizations and feel privileged to have such exceptional team members at CPA” said Dr. Andrea Piatt, founder and CEO.

“This accomplishment represents the sum of every person at CPA working to create and maintain an environment in which everyone feels supported, genuinely appreciated, and instrumental to not only the success of the organization but also to the important work of helping our clients improve their lives,” Dr. Piatt said. “As a behavioral health organization, we also are excited to see that the larger business community is recognizing how essential psychological health and well-being in the workplace is to overall organizational health.”

Based on survey responses, CPA’s employees find their work meaningful, feel highly valued and enjoy contributing to a workplace culture that promotes work/life balance, continual learning and growth, collaboration, respect across all departments and, importantly, fun. They appreciate company efforts to create opportunities for social interaction and engagement via birthday & work anniversary celebrations, potluck lunches, Free Lunch Thursdays, an employee-facilitated health & wellness program, an annual company summit, and regular off-site social gatherings that keep staff feeling like friends in addition to colleagues. Employees recognize that CPA is consistent in its values to promote overall well-being to clients and staff alike.

The rankings in the Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from nearly 77,000 individuals at 357 Massachusetts organizations. The winners share a few key traits, including offering progressive benefits, giving their employees a voice, and encouraging them to have some fun while they’re at it.
